The Cast of ‘Yellowjackets’ Looked Incredible at the Premiere Last Night

Yellowjackets is finally back for season 2, and the premiere went down last night at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood! The core cast looked genuinely incredible at the event (scroll for pics), where they were joined by newcomers Lauren Ambrose and Simone Kessell, who play adult Van and adult Lottie this season, respectively.

When it comes to adult Lottie, Simone dropped some hints at what fans can expect, telling Entertainment Tonight that she has “completely re-created herself from the Lottie that we know from season 1. She’s been in and out of institutions. And the Lottie we see today is love and light and healing and spirituality.” Sounds nice/ominous!

Meanwhile, Lauren told the outlet that she worked with teen Van actor Liv Hewson to craft the adult version of Van, saying, “We did get together and hang out and got to watch the whole first season with this beautiful character that Liv created. I just feel really honored to continue this character.” Liv also noted that Lauren is “such a good actor and I was excited to see what she was going to do. I was excited to see what Van was going to be like grown up. This is her character too now. And that’s part of the joy of it.”

Truly can’t wait to watch Yellowjackets when the season 2 premiere drops tomorrow on Showtime. And by that I mean watch Yellowjackets and troll around Reddit obsessing over fan theories. Both are equally important, obviously.
